First you must register the bots nick by using the bot, type /msg ns help register
To obtain a user@host for owner and bot nicks, type /userhost nick.

Please make sure both nicks are registered. Nicks cannot be pre-registered nicks.
(A preregistered nick still needs to be authed for the first time within 72 hours.)

Owner nick and bot nick cannot be the same. You may only register ONE botnick. To
see if your bot is registered (you will see [BOT])...from the authed botnick, type
/msg ns whoami

If you do not see [BOT] , then assume you have filled out the webform incorrectly.
Read the instructions and try again.
